Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection that presents with cutaneous manifestations during the disease course. The lesions seen in secondary syphilis can manifest differently each individual and resemble other conditions; thus, making diagnosis difficult some circumstances. be distinguished by peripheral scale surrounding lesion, known as Biett Collarette. This unique finding visualized better via dermoscopy. Given this historically hard to diagnose condition, looking for Collarette aid providers diagnosing syphilis. We encourage look when presented vague maculopapular rash on differential.
